The overarching aim of the ASSETS project was to quantify the linkages between ecosystem services (ES) that both affect, and are affected by, food security, nutrition and health for the rural poor at the forest-agricultural interface.
2. Dr. Tobias Nyumba:
ESPA Africa Professional Development Course Project Coordinator. A PhD candidate at the Department of Geography, University of Cambridge, UK. Tobias has worked with both academic and applied research institutions in Kenya to promote evidence-based conservation and development policy initiatives. Tobias’ research has centred on the impacts of conservation initiatives on human wellbeing”.
